Neva artwork now on display in Elizabeth Fort, Cork

Elizabeth Fort, in the centre of Cork, Ireland, was used as a female convict depot in the nineteenth century, and was the departure point for the Neva women in 1835. A display has now been set up focusing on the history of the fort, and a room has been dedicated to the fort’s time as a convict depot.

Reproductions of some of the Neva Reliquary work are now displayed as the culmination of the story of the Neva.
