Floating Free

Originally inspired by stories of shipwrecks, this bodiless floating dress was conceptualised as symbolic of the soul’s departure from the body after death, thus floating free

and released from gravity and earthly cares. It alludes to themes of transience, loss, and liberation.

The floating dress also represents the freedom and joy experienced by swimmers and divers when immersed in the sea, and the potential for

water to cleanse, purify, nurture, heal and transform.
