Highly Commended

At the opening of the 2020 Maritime Art Exhibition lat night, my artwork Ghost Schooner was highly commended!

The exhibition can now be viewed online at https://gallery.missiontoseafarers.com.au/

Works are available for purchase, and viewers can vote in the People’s Choice Award.

Ghost Schooner was inspired by a visit to SW Tasmania where the schooner 'Lourah' was wrecked during a fierce storm in 1899. The work is made from seaweed paper using seaweeds gathered from the shipwreck site, combined with ground charcoal.
